HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS

The Hydraulic Systems Division is dedicated to providing and advancing fully-integrated hydraulic systems and solutions for the aerospace industry. As an experienced risk-sharing partner with most major aircraft manufacturers worldwide, we offer experience and international exposure in the following areas:

  • Teaming relationships and infrastructure with most avionic, software, system, structural, and engine manufacturers
  • Collaborative and secure information technology systems for technical and commercial program exchange
  • Industry aligned program management processes for iterative approaches to product optimization

HYDRAULIC POWER SUPPLIES

The Hydraulic Systems Division designs and manufactures hydraulic power supplies (HPS) for aerospace applications. Our HPS product line is ideally suited for applications where a highly integrated and compact hydraulic system is needed. 

 

The HPS is a completely self-contained, compact, gearbox-driven device that fully integrates the hydraulic pump with the filters, reservoir, switches, transducers, and ground support couplings. This compact and robust unit provides the full functionality of a conventional hydraulic system for conformance to unique weight and space constraints.

 

Standard and custom units are available for a variety of applications.

  • Commercial, military, and general aviation aircraft
  • Unmanned, space, and military ground vehicles

  • Power ranging from 1 to 80 hp
  • Variable displacement axial piston pump designs with pressure compensation

The Hydraulic Systems Division's facility in Wiesbaden, Germany designs and manufactures hydraulic motors for aerospace and derivative markets. Our hydraulic motor product line provides unmatched efficiency and reliability in a compact, lightweight package with an exceptionally high hydraulic horsepower-to-weight ratio.

 

Standard and custom units are available for a variety of applications like flap and slat drive systems, horizontal stabilizers, rescue hoists, cargo winches, and fuel pump drives.

  • Unmanned aerial vehicles
  • Space vehicles

The Hydraulic Systems Division designs and manufactures hydraulic motors for aerospace and derivative markets to convert hydraulic power to mechanical power. Our hydraulic motor product line provides unmatched efficiency and reliability in a compact, lightweight package with an exceptionally high hydraulic horsepower-to-weight ratio. Standard and custom units are available for a variety of applications. Typical hydraulic motor applications include:

  • Flight controls for flap drives, slat drives, rudder systems, and trim systems
  • Motor-pump packages for power transfer units
  • Control variations for generator drives and servo motors

Our motors also provide utility function for:
